Other pursuits outside fishing
After the
age of twelve I drifted away from the fishing scene and my life became
dominated by playing football. It was to be more than ten years before I was to
return to this pastime which was to become a lifelong pursuit spanning more
than fifty years and counting.
I married at the age of twenty and my wife and
I had our first child at the age of twenty two.
Due to being married I started to play less
and less football, although I did try training young kids how to play as my boy
James was growing up. Anyhow, enough of that, I must get back to my fishing
memories.
